So like it says I found out how to get my MP3 into a higher bit rate, so the sounds is amazing, I just wanted to let you all know in case you all have this problem. If you would like me to post how I will but not sure many real care, but did want to let others know how to make those crappy songs sound better than what you download of those websites. Yes kinda random.

I don't find there is much difference between 320kbps and 128kbps. At least I can't tell it on my non ML stereo...

Actually Im bringing it to 1114kbps the sound is different, has more clarity and clean bass.

Wait, you have GS '06 right? which I understand can't read mp3. Unless you changed it.

From what I understand, once you go to a lossy format you lose the original quality and you can't ever revert to it even if you used a converter. I'd love to make some of my songs into a higher bit rate.

Alright so First I converted it to a Wav file with this site. http://media.io/ Before I import it to iTunes, you need to change the bit rate, you do this by going into Edit then Preferences once in the preference your going to click on the general tab, then your going to select import settings, you want to click on import using and scroll to MP3 encoder once selected your going to click settings and scroll to custom, After custom you will be required to select the bit rate, choose 320kbps, After that I imported the songs to ITunes. Now for some reason after I did all this the songs came out as 1411kbps unsure why but there was a quality difference in sound.

You are only changing the bit rate when doing this, the quality of the music is still the same. Once you convert to a lossy format, you lose some quality and you can't regain that quality without the original file. Even when upgrading back to a higher bit rate the instruments and etc. still won't sound as good as the original high bit rate file...

But nonetheless, I will give it a shot. But, I don't think I will hear an improvement. I will let you guys know.

So you first convert the mp3 file to wav then import to iTune with 320kbps but somehow it turns into 1411kbps?? That's interesting because when I rip a CD to mp3 selecting 320kbps it actually come out 320kbps.

What's the file size of the 1211kbps file? A mp3 file this large is about the same as a wav file, right?

Yes after all this has been done it turns from either a 250kbps or a 162kbps to a 1411kbps posted a pic, not sure why this happens but it does.
