I dropped the car off this afternoon at the dealer, they need to re-certify it or else I will be asking for a new car. Love the car but it's got alot of issues that should of been taken care of
Before I picked it up.
When it comes to snow - our previous IS250 AWD handled the snow much better than my sisters A4 Quattro. I was shocked
By that. My fathers G37X sedan handled the snow the best with not 1 issue. Can't wait to see how the GS350 handles the snow

NYCGS350, How was the reliability of them Bimmers you previously owned??? I had looked very hard at the 335 and 535 for quite some time before picking up my gs350. It came down to proven reliability with the lexus brand and everything else that came with. Just wanted to know what experiences you had with them...btw, congrats on the gs, white is my fav. color and welcome to the site.

I put 50k miles on the 08 328i and only had 1 issue with it. I had the vanos replaced but other then that, it was good.
The 335 currently has 12K miles on it and I had the HPFP replaced at 4K miles. All N54 and N55 engines are notorious for their fuel pumps. The fuel pump is warranted up until 100K miles.
You made the right choice by getting a Lexus for their reliability. I've heard stories of BMW buying out cars due to the amount of $$$ they were spending on fixing various issues

I specifically wanted AWD for the winter time after going through headaches on my previous RWD car. as much as i'd love to lower it and slap Vossen 20's on them. ill have to really think hard on it with the way NYC roads are and these crators they call potholes.

Yep... all that stuff is nice if you live in some mild weathered suburban area with long stretches of smooth roads but in the urban north forget it.

Good choice- Just sold my E46 330i. But unlike your experience, I had a several issues with mine.
So i'm currently looking at the M45, GS300 and the GS350, leaning more towards a Lex for intr layout and reliability. How do you feel about the handling?

Dont get M45. I almost bought 2008 M35x and found out there were problems after auto tune shop. Get GS350.
