My 2007 GS450h has this problem. I keep having to readjust them, especially the passenger side. Lexus know of the problem and said they'll replace the actuators once they arrive from Japan. I think they're doing it for free.

So I just got my GS350 and I had to get a new battery. When they replaced the battery the sideview mirrors just completely stopped working. Is this something I have to manually fix or are they supposed to automatically tilt downward?

First, make sure the selector is set to either the right or left side (the green light should be to the right or left.) if it is then the system might need to be re initialized.
