I have been researching iPad mounts for the front seat of my 3GS.

I recently purchased a laptop dock, that I am installing under my rear seat for my work laptop. I plan to run a line from that to my VAIS box and use my nav screen as a monitor for my computer. I have a wireless hotspot in my car that will allow me to access the internet as well as connect my ipad to my computer to use as a wireless keyboard and mouse.

I could pull up a remote desktop on the iPad , but that is difficult to navigate via touchscreen. That will come in handy if i need a bigger screen though.

Regardless, what do you think of the mount? Do you think it will look tacky folded down when not in use. I have a black interior.

its koo the ipad is already a big clunky thing any way. but i like the carbon it sits good in the car it would look really good in a black interior ill give it a 6.5 not bad

Not personally my cup of tea. Way too large of a device to have in my car. I wouldn't rock it.
