Default Should I remove the resonators?

I have the full invidia setup on my car (catback + midpipe). The sound is deep until 3krpm, but after that, total silence.. its like there is no exhaust on the car. There is a huge resonator on the midpipe, so I guess thats the cause? Also, if i am not mistaken, there are 2 cats on our cars, and the invidia gets rid of them.. So if I remove the resonator, I will be unresonated/uncatted.. or are there more than 2 cats on our cars?... or I may go with a custom midpipe.. please chime in people!

Invidia Midpipe:

Thinking of something similar to the ISF Joez.. dno if its possible due to the catbacks single pipe:

You're not going to get much help if you don't share material. Can you post up a short clip of what you are talking about?

Because I'm right next door to you, come and drive my car and tell me if it's the same! If not, then you know it's your axle backs, not your mid pipes cause I have the same mid pipes on the same car!

Simple.

Once again, I post this video for you to listen to carefully. The exhaust noise is consistent through out the RPM range!

Also, have a look at my earlier thread "Souped up GS460", you will get the answers to all your questins. You will know what modificatins were requried to fit your mid pipes to your OEM headers, you will see what modifications were required to relocate the O2 bungs on your 460 for the mid pipes.

You will also see that our cars have two sets of cats. Just like most BMW's ( including my E60 M5 ), two cats that are replaced by your resonated mid pipes, and two cats that are part of your headers!

Since you live in a very hot country, you will also notice that although there are pre and post cats O2 sensors plugged into your catless mid pipes, you have not gotten a warning light pop up...... yet! hehe.

Enjoy

Ok I spoke to my exhaust specialist and he said he can construct a dual piping exhaust instead of the single one I am equipped with (shown above).. something similar to the Joez (also shown above).. do you guys think there will be an extra gain/sound from the dual piping?

Resonators are exactly what they are, they reduce noise resonated from the chambers. My only concern might be that you end up with a raspy exhaust note!
