Hi Mike, I've got a vendor in mind. But I was under the impression that your distributors don't stock! They take orders and back order from you direct.

Anyways, since there are no reliable Vossen dealers in my area, I am forced to order from a US vendor.

In my case, would I be exempt and allowed to purchase direct from Vossen? As I am an overseas customer who is active on this forum?

I either order from the US and have them ship it to me here, or have them ship it to my US forwarding address ( but that would not exempt me from tax )

So my best solution is to inform my shipping company ( Aramex ) to pick them up from the seller.

Sorry for late response. Haven't been on here much. If you haven't made your decision on offset let me share my experience. I was running the 082 with +32 in the front and +39 in the rear and would recommend that setup if you want to have a semi-aggressive stance. I had the +45 in the rear originally but changed to the +39. I ran the Bridgestone Potenza 960 tires 245/35 F and 275/30 R (would highly recommend these tires, I just love them). I sat as low as I could go on BC Coils. The rear measured 25.75" from ground to center of wheel well arch and 25.5" in the front. I had the front and rear fenders shaved completely and did some trimming to the bumper/fender connection. The ride was awesome. I would rub in the front if I hit a dip at a fast speed or there was some rubbing on the plastic cover when turning sharp. If your not going to lower as much as I had it you should be fine. In fact I still had more room in the rear to push it out but because of my overspec tires it would rub on the wheel-well unless I stretched the tires more, which I wasn't willing to do (my preference). That is what IKAPIMP did. He is slightly more aggressive than me and I love his stance. Anyway I hope that helps although others have posted some good information already.

I'm so rolled at the rear that I can go pretty aggressive with no problems! I also wanted wider tires at the rear hence why I am opting for the 285's. Can I run 285's on +39 offset?

^^^^ I had a 285 with the 285/25 I ran vredestine sessanta which have more of a rounder sidewall that will help with fender clearance as well

It won't be a problem. Here is a link to a wheel/Tire calculator so you can compare the 275/30 to a 285/25 on the size of wheel you want to use.

i think for the vossen 10.5 they have +45 and +39

Yes they do I have +39 on my rear 10.5 it's stamped on the back of the face. I double checked them because I used them to figure out what offsets I was going to roll with on my new wheels

Okay then, +32/+39 it is then!

The only issue now is tires! There are less and more expensive options available in the sizes that I want. However, if I go for 245/35 fronts and 285/30 rears, more options become available at a more affordable costs!

Am I correct in assuming that if I add a 10mm spacer to a wheel that has an offset of +45, I get +35?

If that's the case, then I am running +35 with no problems at the rear right now. My tires are 275/30's but I'm rolling on 19's of course.

I prefer to go 245/35 fronts and 275/30's not that I think about it cause there are hardly any options available for tires with those sizes honestly.

if it's the exact same wheel, yes. you have +35 now, but is that 10" or 10.5"? if it's 10" +35, it's about the same as 10.5" +41. also that's 19s, if you get 20s with 285/30, that's overspec AND also wider. even at 275/30 (on 10.5), you still have overspec problem to deal with

Okay, just found out my close friend who happens to be the Mercedes Benz dealer in Bahrain, is also the exclusive agent for Vredestein. I just emailed him for a quote on 245/30's and 285/25's.

I'm confirmed for +32 and +39 Vossen VVS083's!

OK so here's the latest, thanks to Jav for feeding me info on offsets!

Here's Jav's very clear explanation:

So if you are currently running a 19x9.5 +45 with a 10mm spacer that means you have a 19x9.5 +35...

So you need to add +12 for the 1 inch difference in size to make the wheel sit the same. So figure if you want the 20x10.5 wheel to sit exactly like your current set up you will need a +47 offset.

So even the 20x10.5 +45 is going to be about 2mm more aggressive than your current set up.

But I wanna go more aggressive to replicate lkapimp216's stance. I believe my current set up is tucked in which I don't like.





2mm more aggressive than my current setup? If I go for +39 Vossens, I will sit 8mm more agressive! Grrrr, 8mm seems like what I'm looking for!

I will wait for the tire confirmation which will be the deciding factor.

Either run 245/30/20 & 285/25/20 on the +39's

or

run 245/35/20 & 275/30/20 on the +45's!

What do you guys think?
