All of the sudden today my parking sensor started going crazy! going off for no reason I turned it off and later turned it back on it seemed fine. Anyone else have this happen?

My 430 started doing it once in a while. It gets overly sensitive and starts going off when I get remotely close to the car ahead of me. It gets fixed by me coming out of the car and taping on all of the sensors in the front. I am sure its one of the sensors going bad, or bad contact. Not something I would take the bumper off. I hardly ever park the car on the street.

Happens from time to time. Some of the traffic light sensors use radar signal as well, so if you're the first at the light, sometimes it triggers the alarm.

Must be in the air. My GS300 started this in the front sensors for no reason the other day. They're both displaying red and constantly beeping. I tried cleaning them, tapping them, nothing. I'm going to disconnect the two front and run it like that. I really use the back ones though. My driveway is tight,.

There must be some common thread of reason for these sensor problems. I am baffled and so need my sensors to work as designed. What are we missing? I have one rear sensor that is sometimes okay but often beeps and flashes rapidly or just comes on and stays on whilst in reverse.
What does Lexus say or suggest - anyone up on the company's side of this?

Its usually caused from moisture, rain or washing your car.

Radar should be no problem. Our sensors use sonar.

Might also have a look at this related sensor thread.
