According to Philips site:
http://philips.page-view.jp/Automoti...html?page_num=
5000k - Flash Clear
6000k - Flash White
Take that for what it is.

Maybe it was a wrong choice of words but this info is from hearsay n pics. I don't have the bulbs yet. Only someone who has these bulbs can tell u how they really look like in person.

No Offense, is like we are comparing Kia V.S. Lexus in here.
Garax is a China/Taiwan Company, targeting Japan as their selling market.
Stuff are either made in Taiwan/China.
Philips is from Germany, stuff are made in Japan/Germany.
Real Japanese items won't be selling out of Japan that easy and available anywhere. Such as PIAA, REAL Japanese company as well. Their stuff are not easily find in the U.S.

Sometime things are actually really not that expensive and doesn't need to be so. It is just supply and demand. The fact they are made in Japan + limited supply + brand name = mark up prices.
It is no doubt these are good, I am not questioning that. What I am questioning is, is it good enough to fork out 4 times the price. I am interested in replacing mine, but not interested in paying for something that is marked up in price due to hype and other factors.

True...but just because it is made in Japan doesn't mean it is of highest quality. Look at all the issues they had with Camry transmission gear jump (made in japan).

on the other hand, if you went with expensive bulbs and they blow, you would be face palming yourself because you could have replaced those bulbs 4 times using the cheapie bulbs.
there is no right or wrong answer to this, it's a question of how lucky you feel.
