Anyone know if you can project your droid screen onto your Lexus nav screen? I have the vaistech sl2ic for iPod and it projects some video out, but it's lacking... I also have a droid for cell phone, and their system is much more open. Anyone know of a product out there that let's you do this? I'd like to project whatever is on my droid directly onto my Lexus nav screen

no just the vaistech unit and phone. heres a thread of someone doing it on their iphone. the pictures dont work anymore but it explains what your looking for

Hey that's my old thread! Whoops, didn't realize my domain has been down. The pictures should be fixed now.

For an Android phone, you're probably going to be more limited since there is no all-in-one dock connector. You probably will need a universal video input. An output converter, and probably an app to mirror the display. Probably will need a separate wire for audio. Even after that, you probably will not be able to get steering wheel controls or audio text like you would an iPod/iPhone.

Vaistech ML+ has additional audio/composite video input or you can use audio/component video input instead of "iPod out". Basically you can connect any audio/video source to ML+, not only iPod/iPhone or iPad.
