Default My Turn....to get a recall letter

Title of Recall: Certain MY 2006-2007 GS300/350, 2006 - Early 2009 IS250, and 2006 Early 2008 IS350 Vehicles Insufficient Tightening of the Fuel Pressure Sensor Safety Recall Notice.

Loose pressure can lead to fuel leaks and risk of fire.

V8 FTW again

I think this is an old recall isnt it? or was that a different fuel related issue with the V6 modles?

Not sure which one you are referring to , letter states this isn't related to another fuel related recall 9LA Fuel Delivery Pipes (Fuel Rails) replacement.

Yeah, this was announced a while back. Letters seem to dribble out in batches after the official announcements.

I never received a letter on this one, and I have no message on MyLexus website ... wondering if I'm excluded. Did anyone who received a letter not have a notice on MyLexus?

My profile online has indicated I have the recall since a few days after the announcement but I have yet to receive any letter. I've been filling my tank quarter way for quite a while in preparation I want it over with. :P

yikes!! I dirve 75/25 hwy to surface streets and average 26 MPG.. sounds like you hit a lot of traffic lights.. This is defintely something to keep in mind.

I don't see how it could be related given all they are doing is tightening a sensor.
