Default *PICS* Waxed and Detailed on a beautiful Florida day

Weather is absolutely perfect - 65 degrees without a cloud in the sky. Had to be outside so I spent 2 hours washing, waxing and detailing. But man, after looking at these pics I really need to get some mods done and quickly. Don't like the stock look anymore.

I clayed the car with Meguiar's Clay Bar, washed it, then put two coats of Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax on it. I also put Armor All Extreme Tire Shine Gel on the tires. I was a little disappointed with the pics, it looks a lot better in person.

LOL, yeah, about 2 1/2 hours at a very leisurely pace. 8 hours??? What are you doing, going through the 186 step Zaino process???

nice n shiny coolpop! i noticed you don't have the standard GS450h wheels; did the 07 GSh come with your wheels or did you swap them out for the 5 spoke version?

Ouch. That hurts. But yeah, who can blame you, I hate looking at my stock car too. I've got to do something to it and soon.

@Stormforge - When I looked at this car, it had these spiders with new runflats, which of course I didn't want. The dealer offered me brand new Pilot Sport A/S Plus with the stock wheels so I went that way. Kinda wishing I had told them to put the Michelins on the spiders so at least it wouldn't be total stock and Ice wouldn't dog me about it. Here's a pic of the original wheels:

seriously, for all the talk that goes on about 'modded' cars here, I really think that the stock ones almost always look better. Everytime I see a lowered, tinted, GS ridin' on 'dubs' and sporting chromed b-pillars with rain guards I just get a weird "Fast and Furious" riced out pimpmobile vibe. There's no way you'll be able to sell a seriously modded car without taking a significant depreciation hit.

I look at some GS riding on Tanabe springs with chromed wheels and I just see visions of 40 second smoky burnout YouTube videos while your gang cheers you on.
