just stumbled upon this on l-tuned.com. wondering if anyone did it already and if so, did you like the outcome? where there any problems during or after install? and what kind of power outputs did you gain? seriously considering picking this up. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

... Seriously? It would make more sense just to buy another car. Or if you want to really go-fast, join the club and spend $10K on a sportbike and go faster than everything on 4 wheels you ever come across on the road. :P

That's a lot of money for what your getting. For $15K I could buy a K20 engine for my Del Sol, turbo kit, FMIC, coil-overs, new rims/tires, etc. etc. etc. I realize the GS is a lot nicer but for that kind of money it seems you could do a lot more. Does $15K include installation? If not that'll probably run an extra $2K.

And to the op if you have the dough and really want to make this car fast contact Ben @ Freed Engineering in MD he is very reputable and has done supra single turbo 2 jz swaps on many different vehicles 240sx, Cressida, 350zx, and q45. Has a machine shop to fabricate all custom piping, mounting brackets and wire harnesses to do it right

As others have said while that supercharger will give you more power the price is ridicously expensive, if you want it for the bling/rare factor then its your money and your choice. Never really researched much into it so I could be wrong but cant we put a centrifugal supercharger setup on these cars (procharger/vortech)? I would imagine this would be a much cheaper route to go but like I said I havent looked far into it since I have a built 500rwhp mustang cobra that is setup for racing.

Although many are suggesting the 2j swap, there are MANY kinks to work out when you do a transplant. To do it right and make it a daily driver requires a lot of time and patience while expensive, a supercharger will help you stay close to stock in terms of maintenance and you won't have so many variables in this setup.
