Would an IS HKS Hi-Power Exhaust Fit a AWD 09 GS350? Other exhaust questions also
Hi, I’ve been searching exhausts systems for awhile now, and the only 2 axel back systems I’ve liked are either the Megan or the HKS.
I think all of the clips I’ve heard, have had the Invidia Mid pipe combined with these setups.
I’m leaning more towards the HKS (love the sound) but they don’t make it anymore.
Will a 06-13 IS HKS 32003-BT002 Hi-Power Exhaust Fit on AWD 09 GS350?
I’ve heard the Invidia Mid pipe needs to be bent up on the driver side near the header to fit a AWD GS, is that all that is needed?
Do I loose my cats also and the resonators with this pipe or do I retain anything?
I just fear drone, that is my only thing. But I want something to sound mean and classy like an AMG or Panorama.
These cars are old now so I don’t know how many people are still running exhaust setups or if theres even any HKS mufflers still on anyone’s GS.
Is there a mean sounding muffler, from MagnaFlow that fits the GS that has a similar tone to HKS?
I don’t mind going cheaper, and getting my own tips. I just want the sound.
Also would a muffler shop make me a mid pipe for much cheaper then buying the Invidia? Is there something specific I should ask or tell them to do if they can make one for me?

Hey I dont have an AWD but I do have an 07 RWD with a invidia midpipe and an hks hi power exhaust. Got it for like 800 on andys auto sport I think. You keep your cats but lose a resonator, the HKS doesnt have any much to any drone since it has its on built in resonators. As for fit cant help with the awd but these mufflers are HUGE. they stick out a good 2-3 inches so the scrape if you are slammed and not careful. Overall its a great combo and sounds rad. Ive had the megan and invidia cat backs and of the 3 the HKS is my favorite. I dont have any sound clips but I will try and post one if I can.
