I'm a relatively new Lexus owner (2006 GS300) and it took me three weeks to confirm what gen my nav system was. I just found this chart elsewhere (eBay of all places) and figure since it helped me it might also help other new owners.

^ agreed. Also so people know, if you have an 4th gen system, a 5th gen navi disc will not work.
