Default Swift Motorsports motorized plate

Tried to do a search with "hideaway" as keyword but not much came up so just like the title states I am wondering if anyone else has put one of these http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/prod...705rcrs6p5e3a2their 3GS, and if it will even fit. "Measuring from the front edge of the bumper, you need a flat area 9" deep by 3"wide to mount the bracket." Its 20 degrees outside right now and I figured I would ask here before heading out into the cold. I just got a no front plate ticket while my car was parked sitting on the street and while ill pay the ticket I refuse to drill holes in the front bumper of my GFM GS430. I have seen the tag brackets that fit in the tow hook but have been told as soon as you pop the plastic covers that cover the towhook they never stay in place that well afterwards so im trying to figure out my options.

Thanks

ive taken my caps off my tow hook a few times. never had any problem putting them back in and keeping them in place. id go with the bracket that the 2IS guys use.

i would think that you would scrap the license plate everytime you go in a driveway or even the motrized system. seems cool but I think it would break after a few weeks!

Its a nice piece, but think about all the negatives that may come with it? Scrapping, braking, another remote on you're key chain, someone could be jealous and kick it. I mean so much things that can go wrong that I wouldn't suggest it. 187 can you post pics of the one the IS uses?

Attach it to the lower grille like I did, requires cutting the plate though!

just put it on the trunk lid where its suppose to go?

i think the op isnt trying to hide his plates, he just needs a method to mount a front plate without drilling into his bumper.

They make a flip plate for the rear that looks bulky and cheap and cost a grip!

Thanks for all the replies fellas, I will likely just go with the tow bracket plate from www.rhoplate.com. I hate having to have a plate in the front I think it looks like crap but at least I wont have to drill holes in the bumper :-D
