I have a heated steering wheel in my XJ8, it's really nice but the problem is that it's tied into the heated seats so when I have those on high the wheel gets too hot :/

Italian Leather cashmere lined gloves do the trick....

Heated steering wheels never really took the luxury world by storm. Some cars have them as an option, most don't. I am not entirely certain if any Lexus has offered it, I think the current LX 570 might.

It would be great as a "cold weather' package or something.

Default Heated steering wheel on 2013 gs350

According to the dealer the steering wheel only heats the sides, not the top or bottom. Now how stupid is that? Has anyone verified this with Lexus? The manual isn't specific enough. My wife has a 2013 altima and hers heats up the whole wheel. If anyone has any info i would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I also had a 2002 Maxima with a Heated Steering Wheel, the 6 speed tranny and heated steering wheel is the 2 things I miss the most about that car...

Hey Big Black, I just got a 2013 IS 350C with a horrible black paint job. Where did you get your wrap done?

Well about the heated steering wheel - I've been thinking of rigging up a pair of electric socks with a way I can put them over the wheel the night before I remote start the vehicle.

You would think that a heated steering wheel would have been standard in this vehicle 10 years ago. They need to step their game up with the GS. I will not purchase one later than 2011 because they cut the headroom out.
