Curious. I had the new 2011 RX as a courtesy car for a week and never notice drop signal on the sirius when going under the traffic overpass / bridge.

In the GS350 2008, stock nav / stock sirius, everytime i drive under one, i loses signal for a brief moment. No matter how quickly I drive past it, disconnect.

Is it normal? Wasn't sure, never had SiriusXM before until the past week.

Anyway to improve the signal strength?

yes you will loose signal almost all the time when going under object over hangs in drivethru and other object that block the signal to the sat.

location of antenna? where is your antenna located on the gs

I think same as everyone else. Front windshield next to the rearview mirror.

for sirius i think it's up to install to mount the antenna, no? i have seen quite a few on the trunk lid. i wonder if locating the antenna to top of the car would help

No one has the standard Sirius for the lexus and experience this issue?

No one here has the stock sirius SIGMA design and experiences this issue? Where do they usually install the module anyhow?
