2006 GS300 oil question
Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere else or if this is a repost.
My car has almost 90,000 miles. Regular oil has been used all it's life. I am curious as if I should switch to synthetic or just continue using regular oil.
Also, i remember reading somewhere that Lexus now recommends a different oil other than the one on the oil cap under the hood. What should I be using in my 2006 gs300 ? 5w20?

i thought that lexus req'd synthetic. oh well' thats all i use in mine. diy, mobil one. every 3k miles.thats what im planning. jic. wouldnt want to stay car less.lol. regular oil is good in any car.i have an expedition with 271,000 miles. running strong. it takes regular oil every 3k miles. as long as you keep up witht the oil changes almost ANY car will last. its up to you. synthetic is better though .
