this car is done with the best adjustable suspenison around. The G35 one of the only mid size car around when I had this done back in 2006 to have 22 plus sit this low, but I would never do it again.

theres no such thing as a 245/20/22 tire (at least that im not aware of). you probably meant 245/30/22 which would be ideal.

coming from someone who had 22s, its not worth it. they are too big and you cant lower the car enough. i had to remove my fender liners in the front because it would rub on turns and i also had to do a little trimming and fitting. not much but it still was a pain to make sure nothing rubbed.

22s staggered will work you will need to modify the wheel well liner on the front and go with a 285/25-22 on the rear the 295 is to wide you ll be more likely to rub when you hit bumps or ride people in the back. I have 285/25-20 on my car now. I have a set of 22 inch asantis that I took off my car!

I LIKE THAT G35. car is sitting sick. those rims arent that bad either.imo, maybe if someone sees what they look like on the car itself. in the end its up to you. im from miami and down here its a fact that we like big rims. theres vw beetles on 22's and even 24's. allthough i think thats hideous. people take stock cars and lift them adding huge rims and their done.lol. but in the end truth be told your going to get a way smoother ride from a set of 20's then you are a set of 22's. people on here love vossens and i really cant seem to see any vossens that i find attractive like that. idk it must be a california thing. trial and error buddy. if you dont listen the first time.g/l

Can you imagine mounting a 20 series tire?????

KingKang, many on this forum feel that 22's are too large for the 2GS body....more appropriate for an LS460. You can make anything fit, but you failed to mention what offsets the wheel shop recommends. The challenge is keeping the outside tire diameter close to stock....not many tire selections at those sizes. Unless you're dead set on 22's, I would suggest moving to a 20" wheel.

Mark thats very true and with 22s there is no tire out there that will keep you close to the stock overall diameter

hit the nail right on the head.

For $3k, you could get a nice set of Vossen's (20").

The build quality of the GS isn't very good. Things get loose and start to rattle or squeak a lot. This happens due to vibrations and bumps. I find this to be a problem running 18s with 40 sidewalls. If you are running 22s with 20 sidewalls, this is going to be a big problem for you.
