try it from the other side of the car...

Firmly push where the wiper blade meets the wiper arm, while the blade is on the glass, upward/toward the rear of the vehicle. Don't lift the arm up, just move it along the windshield in it's natural arc and it will lock into the second position (push harder than you think - it'll go)

WTF???
Ouch, you should touch that up before it rusts. Then again. Does anything rust over there?

Thanks. I especially enjoyed the sounds of effort that went with pushing and pulling the wipers.

I was told that "snow mode" is actually not use because if you turn on the whipper it will hit the edge. I would call that the cleaning position. And back to normal position.

btw, it is written in your owner manual.

Some touch up paint should fix that scratch.

Thats awesome. Can you do a DIY writeup too? Certainly worthy of a sticky I'd say.

There is already a write up... it is in your owner manual.

i clearly don't read my manual. Scratched up the paint so need to do some touch up - though there are other places to touch up since my stupid garage pays no attention to scratching bumper paint. I just thought it was a design flaw as I never had a car that had this issue/feature.
