A lot of people did when I did. Gives it a fresher sleek look.

do you plan on modding? if you are, you should consider the fact that most of the kits available are for the 06-07 model year. slap on an 08 front bumper, and you will limit your modding selection. just a thought.

You can have the front end of my car for free. I have no need for it since I'm changing my front end to a 2011 BMW 5 series one.

Dude, stick to your original look!

quick search from wiki

A precrash system is a automobile safety system designed to reduce the severity of an accident. Most are also known as forward collision warning systems which use radar and sometimes laser sensors to detect an imminent crash. Depending on the system they may warn the driver, precharge the brakes, Inflats seats for extra support, moves the passenger seat to a better position, folds up the rear head rest for whip lash, retract the seat belts removing excess slack and automatically apply partial or full braking to minimize the crash severity. In 2009 the NHTSA began studying whether to make frontal collision warning systems and lane departure warning systems mandatory.[1]

I have the 08 amd think the 06-07 looks better. The area around the quad lights doesn't look as clean on the 08.

I prefer the 08 front also, looks more aggressive to me and fresh. But I like the 06 rear bumpers.

I will tell you that I think there is more to it than just the parts swap.. I have an 08 and at I wanted a bodykit/grille for the 06 (prefer the smaller grille).. so I got all the 06 parts u listed to fit on my car.. Im not sure what exactly the bodyshop needed to do, however I remember they had a to fill up the gap on the headlights. and I think the front bumper mounts had to be trimmed/modified?
I still have the grille, chrome bezel, and oem fogs w/ digital 6k HIDs installed.. PM me if you decide to do the facelift and need the parts?

interesting. i have 2008 with 06-07 body kits (which fit on 06-07 just fine). i didn't have to fill any gaps and all the holes lined up i think (well at least the bumper is still in place).
