If you ask me, keep them coming... more free gas, free inspections, and potentially free replacement parts for ones that may be aging anyway.

Probably keeps hurting resale value on the cars but I don't really intend to sell this car while it's still worth anything either way anyway.

I hope my 07GS350 AWD is not part of the stuck gas pedal recall just recently announced. If yes, I will have all 3 recalls done at one visit.
Keep it coming baby.
Dealers started calling me to do the recalls. They must be hungry now.

The dealer called me last week to request I get the two latest recall fixes done. I have just under 35k miles on the car and am comtemplating having the spark plugs replaced since they'll be exposed during the valve spring replacement. My understanding is this is a rather expensive procedure otherwise. Any advice?

There is new leadership at Toyota (Mr. Toyoda), while some owners may think twice about buying another Toyota product, in the long run I believe they will come out ahead. All manufacturers have recalls, Chrysler and Ford just had one this week. Technology is indeed not perfect, I wouldn't 'throw the baby out with the bath water'....My hope is that they will continue to innovate and not allow the recalls to lessen their zeal to think outside the box..besides free gas, car wash, snacks, sit around and be pampered a little at no cost to you. Not bad!! AND at least know that your car is a little safer than before!!

Finally got my valve spring recall done yesterday along with cam gears TSB (rattling noise at cold start up).
Brought the car in at 9AM. All done by 5PM same day. The techs must be very good by now.
Gas tank was filled up.
So far so good. Knock on woods.
And yes, had the plugs replaced for $104 + plus tax. No labor.

Had other recall (fuel pressure) done a few weeks ago. Also had a full gas tank with the recall.
