i got the tom's air filter awhile ago and was wondering if anyone had the same thing and how they cleaned it.

the guy at carson toyota said with just soapy water?

i was thinking a cleaning kit but he said you don't have to. what do you guys think?

Good question, I want to know as well. Can I use my K&N cleaning kit with the Tom's filter?

K&N is cotton based, while Tom's is sponge based I think.

You can clean it with a little bit of Dawn soap and water. Just make sure it completly dries before putting it back in
