Default Changed my OEM rotors!

Yup, after only 9000 miles, my brakes were giving in! Dealer suggested replacement of pads at my expense! I asked them "what if the squeeling doesn't go away or comes back?"

"Change rotors" was the response! And yes you guessed it.. at my expense!!!

Service bulletins obviously don't apply to our cars here so I was a bit annoyed. Anyways... I didn't bother arguing!

Went ahead and had my rotors and pads replaced! I decided to go with OEM pads and order Hawk pads as back up! The rotors were from iRotors.

Very happy with them so far!

Some pics I took earlier today!

Looks good!

I don't think I can do BBK on the hybrid so this is of interest.

Oh guess I was wrong

Funny but we used to have GBs all the time for OEM slot/drill replacement for the 2GS. Not the 3GS though.

i guess it's just market. we have to rely on 2is for some of the parts i guess
