What is the optimum setting? I get feedback from people that they hear a lot of background noise.

I've played with the diagnostic settings for Bluetooth before. There is a quality setting and a sensitivity setting. What is optimal for both? I have a feeling both are suboptimal on my car.

i think it's all phone dependent. my iphone (and previous phone) has zero issues on clarity and volume. so maybe just try it out and see what's best for you

I have an iPhone 3GS, and I also was getting feedback that it sounded like I am far away. I made some changes and now I get feedback that the connection is noisy.

I thought I had the sensitivity too high (was on 4) so I turned it down to 3. However I am getting the same feedback so I am wondering if the issue is the quality setting.

It would be great if iPhone users who feel their setup is working great could post their bluetooth settings.

I haven't been able to figure out how to get to that menu with non-nav... though my BT seems fine.

You press the info button and turn your headlight switch on and off 3 times to bring up the diagnostic menu.

Would be great if you could try it out and tell me what your bluetooth settings are.

Thanks, Binary Jay.

As a fellow Storm 2 owner, I can say that's not true. It's just that you have no problem with the bluetooth!

I haven't been in the car since you asked me to check this but I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten.

I've only used sony ericsson phones with the car but didn't have any issues with either and when I asked how my voice was coming through when testing them out the people on the other end always said I sounded great. I think BT problems are a combination of both the car and the handset being used, it might be worth borrowing somebody else's phone just to see if it makes any difference.
