I installed the reverse light LEDs per your suggestion. I ordered the most powerful ones for 59.99 from V-LEDs.

They look amazing. Thanks for the tip.

Just did these and while expensive, I can actually see behind me now. Great suggestion OP; thanks for the lead on these.

correction.. this is one I ordered http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=270630497538 . I need them in pair. I find the metal pin a little thin and it sat in an indent causing bad contact so I just move it out of that indent and now it works great.

^ no prob. It's only a few dollars so I was ok with trying it out. I installed it into the hmmm... little light inside the highbeam. I drove for about 30mins with the high beam on (during the day so I didn't glare ppl that much) and the LED seem to be OK, it can withstand the heat from the high beam light.

My little comparison with oem... one shot with OEM in left side and LED (white) in right

With all lights ON

Thats how it looks like.

pop the easy access off.

once you take off the e-z access, put your hand through the e-z access and pop off the trunk light. It should pop out e-z

once you popped it out, unplug it.

remove the backing case which is held in by tabs on the side.

pop out the old bulb and pop in the LED.

^^ that's a 6pc led. it doesn't fit properly but u can bend back your positive and negative arms a bit to make it fit.

enjoy.
Interesting...i bought this

http://cgi.ebay.com/DE3175-DE302-DE3...item2a07df9d35

it too long to fit, i bent the connector a bit, but still no fit...

I love my V-leds flank bulbs in DRL lights!

These Hi-Power V-Leds..

.. firstly installed in reverse lights

then the same bulbs in puddle lights (replaced them from reverse to puddle lights)

Garax 6000K in low beams..

but it seems to me that the color temp is about 5K, not 6K
mismatch from close view

and not so bad if you look from far away

* 5000K HID in Fog lights

Everyone who saw these V-Leds bulbs have been impressed!

I just ordered these from v-led. (http://www.v-leds.com/part-id-s/921-...stomer-reviews) I took out the old bulb and have tried a couple of times to plug these in but it seems that the plug part is too large. has anyone else had this problem? before I try and jam them in there i'd like to make sure i have the right bulb
