Angry first the rattling, now the creaking!

im in the phila metro.
went to Thompson, went to Wilkie, went to Cherry Hill... none of them was able to duplicate it.

first it was the rattling while in idle (stopping at a light). now, my steering wheel is making a creaking sound every time the car hits a bump, even a little bump in the road.

anyone care to advise?
the only solution i've found so far is to crank up the radio volume.

Lawrence Lexus fixed the dash rattle in my IS back when it was new and it's been perfect ever since (70k miles now). Our GS is in the shop now with the dash rattle, I'll let you know how it turns out. I will say their service dept has always been excellent.

MY dash came out 4 times then then console creaks came in like a ****. In the end you will end up doing more damage by having them repeatedly remove the dash and console

My speaker grilles turned out to be the main source of my squeaking and rattling, although it sounded like the steering wheel area sometimes. Try pressing down on the right corner of your driver side speaker as soon as you hear it. If you duplicate the sound, voila.

This is beginning to sound a lot like the Jaguar Club, where all owners would recite the problems with their car. The winner of the best story was awarded a trophy.

The winner one year drove his jaguar to the National Convention with a Case of Oil in his trunk. He had to stop every 75 miles and put a quart of oil in it. But he did make it to the convention.

Yeah, .... but no.

We're more of a whiny, nit-picking, perfectionist crowd. Those guys' cars have REAL problems. Oh well ... at least they look pretty.

hmm... i go to Wilkie all the time and never had an issue. They fixed my dash rattle the first time and it hasnt come back yet.

If your wheel makes a noise everytime you hit a bump, how wouldnt the dealer be able to recreate the noise?

damn i remember my dash creaking/rattling and that **** is annoying. i had the dealership work on it 3 times till they got it perfect. in the winter it used to sound like the dash was about to come out and sit on my lap haha. its all good now. one thing that bothers me in the car is that ****ing vibration issue.......
187I, that is funny i just noticed that the more finger u fit the worse the worse it gets rofl...

they said they couldnt replicate the problem. however, the moment i drove home, its apparent the problem is real. i will have to drag one of the tech with me the next time.
this is disappointing. i shoulda bought an ES or save up for an LS next time.
