its just the general populations thinking since the toyota is considered the base models and lexus the luxury brand, i.e honda=acura, nissan=infinity, they think that their cars that share the same category are the same car, IS they think is just a sportier corolla, the ES is the camry, and they THINK the GS is the avalon but if u think about it the avalon is bigger than the GS so its more towards the LS side in anything, but what u gonna do with non informed people
