Default about my 2007 gs 350' head light

Hi everyone, I'm not sure where should I post this topic so I'm sorry if it bothers u.
Here's wat I wanna know, I bought a 2007 gs350 from a leuxs dealer, after 2 weeks I just found out there's a buttom on pad located on the driver side, and when I press it there's nothing happen.... today I saw another gs using the headlight spray. My question is, do all the 2007 gs has that? How come I have the buttom but I don't hv that funtion? did they changed something because of the accident(I checked carfax, it said no accident)? Too much questions bothers me, can some one plz help m/e!!!!!!

I think it only sprays when the headlights are actually on. I remember being confused about this before (not knowing if they were working), then one day before turning the car off I asked my wife to stand in front of the car while I press it to see if anything happens.

Anyway, she jumped in surprise when I pressed it because I didn't tell he what she was looking for and sure enough it sprayed. Definitely wasn't using the windshield wipers or washers.

IMO a pretty pointless feature and I can't see myself ever using for a practical purpose.

yea try with headlights on. The manual states that your lowbeam has to be on to use the sprayer.

When I went to Florida last month it snowed the whole way, lights covered in salt residue. I used it a few times and could actually tell the difference.

I do have to agree though, just another pointless feature that I have lived my whole life without. I mean, its not like the microwave oven.

I live in a salt capital too, but I've never seemed to need it. I try to rinse the car down at least once a week or so, and I don't go for really long trips anywhere though.

Your headlight should have it... The little separation on the bottom left of the headlight is the washer.

It works well in the winter for me. If my windshield is dirty with mud/snow/salt build-up, so is my headlight. It's nice to clean it off especially when you're taking a road trip so you don't have to stop to do it.

i think most cars come with it standard, but it is still an optional item. maybe yours didn't come with it? you are not missing much anyway, i turn the headlight off sometimes just to wipe my windshield..

You don't have that little rectangle on the bottom of the headlight yet you have a button in your console for the spray? That doesn't sound right at all. I wonder if it was in some kind of frontal collision like you feared, and they replaced (by accident perhaps) the chrome trim around the headlights with the wrong part number. I've never seen a GS here without that little gap though.

Wow...you don't have it? I've never seen a 3GS without them. Post some pics of it
