Default GS in Siberia -40c/f temp!!



caption: The car of the photographer can start while it is -40C (-40F) outside, but it is better to park it into the parking place to be on the safe side.



anyone owns this?? glad to see Lexus can start that cold.. haha

They must have to market the cold weather rattles as some kind of heat preserving feature in Siberia.

I couldnt imagine it being that cold. i probably wouldnt even own a car because i wouldnt want to go outside.

-40 happens during the winter in Canada on a regular basis in some places. Some cars don't even come with a block heater option yet still manage to start...

Umm, that's a communal garage...they are very common in Europe; especially the east. What is (s)he going to do, pay to make a garage look nice when most of the other people parking there couldn't care less? The second picture is in front of an abandoned building, nobody lives in there...hence why it is boarded up.

Edit: the garage is heated according to the photographer, hence the frost: "14. Heated garage can be identified by a thick layer of frost on the gate."

If I post a picture of my car in my condo's underground parking I wonder if someone will say "how can he live like that, and why does he have so many cars?" :P
