I bumped into this article about the GS-F release. It will have the LFA V-10 engine..kinda :-)

not fond of the look though.

The rumor of the "GS-F" receiving the LFA's engine was debunked by a lexusPR's twitter i believe. That image looks like a chop of the IS-F, doesnt even look like a GS...

That GS-F rendering is simply a poor taste photoshop of a GS with ISF features...that will not look anything like the GS-F. I am pretty sure the GS-F, if it comes to life will be based on a 4th generation GS which probably will not debut until model year 2012 release

Default I Hope Not

I love the GS like everyone on this forum, but if thats the GS-F thats one i would not even think about buying. But like other posters have said this is a horrible attempt at a photoshop job.

Its easy to know that pic is b.s
1. We know it won't use the LFA engine but they say it is. So if it was, there is no reason for the huge hood like the IS-F and that pic has b/c the V-10 in the LFA is low mass and smaller than a V-8.
2. Those are the 5 axxis wheels I think
3. No way that front air dam would make production

BinaryJay's pic looks more real than the rendering in OP.. hefty price tag.. even more than the IS-F

I think lexus should follow in bmw's footsteps and make a forced induction v8 like the new m5 is suppose to be.

At the same time, though, it looks a little too much like the current GS3 to be real.

Possibly, but in order to be IS-F material it takes the IS-F's fenders, front bumper, and wheels to be classified as "F" status. Will Lexus redesign the whole car or just replace the front and rear bumpers and fenders?

I am not surprised to hear that the LFA engine will be used . Its funny to me that people think the engine in the LFA is that special. Its no more special than any other motor that produces the same type of power. Lexus needs to make up for some of the loss in producing the LFA. I know nothing is set in stone but we need to realize business is business and the LFA is fast but nothing that we havent seen before. Its just a V10 guys. They put them in the Viper ( with more power) and in the M5 for less than 100k.
