Default Superwhite fogs?

I am thinking about installing some PIAA superwhite bulbs in my fog lights so they will match the stock HID headlights better. As long as I use 55w bulbs, I shouldn't have a problem with overheating the fog light housing, right? Anyone have pics of your car with this done? I don't want to go through the trouble of installing HID fogs. Thanks!

I have these bulbs in my fogs and they are a big improvement from the stock bulbs. They are white but not HID white. I do not have a picture but might be able to post one later this weekend.

I wish the fog extend farther than just the sides.

I'd love to see the pics too.

it's your preference, but i think HID fogs are better match for headlight, and it is not hard to install.. you will have turn the wheels and go through the liner anyway..

I have the PIAAs and the same color temp in the Driving area too, they are LED, the new Osram HID bulbs are killer bright! the older Philips bulbs were 3 years old and its amazing how they get darker in time.

I recently turned off my fogs to see what it would be like and I have to say they don't do much at all. I consider them mostly cosmetic really.

Thanks for the input everyone. Yes, I agree the fogs are mostly cosmetic...which is why I want them to match the stock headlights a little better. IMO the GS looks pretty cool drivin' down the road with the fogs on. Is it in agreement that I shouldn't have a problem with heat replacing the bulbs with PIAA superwhites? Anyone have problems?
Thanks!

Same here. That's why I installed yellow bulbs there. They look cool, kind of different.
