creating backup of maps dvd

I just got my new 9.1 map dvd from Sewell. Does anyone know if you can create a duplicate backup copy of the navigation DVD with a Mac or does it require a PC?

My mac has a double-layer superdrive.

Just use the disc utility to back it up.
