I had 54k miles on my original rear pads when I changed them out but probably could have gotten another 5k miles out of them.

that is a waste of money, you do know there is the same surface area in a pad as it wears down....

mine went about 55k miles

Did the dealership replace them for you for a fee or did you have to pay a pro-rated cost? I just bought a 2007 GS350 and it has a little under 18k miles and the back brakes are squealing every time I turn on the car and go in reverse....it goes away after a while, but that should not be happening on brake pads at 18k miles!!!!

Any thoughts/help?

Lims407 - Thanks! I'm gonna make an appointment with the dealer in the next week or so! Let's see what happens.
