OIl main required
I have a light on my car with the red saying oil main required, is that a serious issue like low oil? i have 55,280 (drove 280 miles on the weekend and the car place isn't open. usually it says oil main soon. I am going to do it tomorrow but I don't want the car not to have oil in it?

you know there is a thing called a dipstick and it tells you if your oil is low. It is yellow and on the passenger side of the engine compartment, you may want to check it, it is sticking out of the engine, kinda hard to miss. The indicator just means it has been 5000 miles since the last time the maintenance required light was reset.

Actually, that error means that you must replace your car with a corolla ASAP.
