I only hear it on the left front and have only found wear marks on the left front. It doesn't happen if the front end doesn't dip while braking and turning at the same time.

Tire Wear from Scrubbing?

Okay, so I'm near the end of a 2nd set of the Dunlop 5000ST (whatever) run flat tires that I obtained from GS430, when I purchased by GS300AWD. Now in the fiirst year of purchase Feb. 06-07 I had a lot of drifting & alignment issues & the original tires had abnormal inside wear. Lexus checked out suspension in June '07 & said I likely received a bad set of runflats & gave me a new set of the same tires. After the dealer performed some TSB's on the car in April, I began hearing a swooshing/rubbing sound from the front tires at very low (going thru fast food drivethru speed). The dealer said its the noise from the run flat tires as they age. Fast forward to Nov & oil change & tire rotation & I'm told I have abnormal inside wear on the two front tires (now rotated to the back). So based on this thread, it appears it is possible that the inside wear on the original & replacement sets of tires was caused by rubbing against the wheel well liner. Has this been confirmed & if so, has anyone had any success with getting a Lexus dealer to address it?
