I was planning to debadge the lower pieces and keep the L logo as well, I think it looks cleaner that way. Was it hard to debadge? Are there any DIY steps?

you can see where the holes are on the bottom....the emblems just come off. Its really easy to do by hand.

The lower piece I had it professionally painted and filled. I will post pics once I get everything back on the car. I removed this from the car and you do this through the trunk lid by taking off the liner. The outer lights come off in order to remove this part. I will see what kind of pics I can get when I install it later this week.

I didn't know that popped off. Call me crazy but I bet in black or CF, it would look great on a red or white or silver GS>

Its just a few screws/clips from the inside...easy to take off.

Since I was painting the rest of the trim black just decided to have them custom painted and stay with the black theme. I cant wait to see it installed this week

can we pop out the gs350 emblem and just put a f-sport emblem/sticker over the holes and everything would be fine?

SOO glad I ran across this. I was just about to do the fishing line pop off trick thinking no way would Lexus put a hole in the trunk...I was wrong.

glad I could be of help...I have an extra set of custom painted black emblems for GS430 if anyone is looking.

Dropped off my car for them to install the parts that where painted. Picking it up Sunday am so I can post pics of what my idea was behind the black theme. Anticipation is killing me....
