its not against the law for you to do this mod...its not going against any patant laws because im not trying to sell this. I cant sell it cuz i dont have a ton of handles laying around to do this to.

Im just trying to share this mod with as many people as possible cuz i personally think that this is a really cool looking mod and not very many lexus owners have it.

Im just trying to share

quintmann:

thx for sharing! your diy instructions are well written and pictures help tremendously. this is a mod for anyone who wants to do a mod project for the enjoyment and satisfaction. the only thing i would change is the last picture: it's so dark, it's difficult to see any details of the door handle. you might want to retake that picture again for better clarity. otherwise, great job!

Ohhhhh, dont' even mention that asian country- a certain Mr. vendor gets REALLY touchy about this.....eventhough, a step by step thread DIY (of their) mirror cover with pictures taken by another fellow member CLEARLY states that their mirrors are Made in T_____- they still insist it is made South of Somewhere

But hey, ive seen those mirrors up close and the quality is .-

Quintmann, Very ingenious!

hey guys! i didnt post this DIY up here for every one to start arguing about patents and how much work it is and stuff like that...i just wanted to share with you GS guys what i had done on my IS. I know the GS and IS are pretty similar with the touch sensor in the door handle and I thought that some of you guys would like to do this on your car.

Thanks tho to you who have appreciated my DIY!

Im just trying to be a true CL member and share my DIY's with everyone i can so they can have something cool for a very cheap price.

Everyone take care!

I am sorry, you are right, I should give you more credit for taking on a project like this. BTW, those guys with the street glow on their cars should be shot.
