Gorgeous. To me that red carpet really makes the whole thing "pop". I'd pair it with the red exterior, but black would of course be baaaaaaaddddd!

If you bought a new GS would you have to get the red carpet with it? I'm guessing you can't choose to not have the red carpet.

red carpet comes with this passionate package, there is still the normal black interior with no red accent where you get black carpet

I still think this should be on a GSF ( future) or ISF model. I dont think they are going to sell many cars with this package.

I am shopping for a Lexus GS460 or IS-F and went to one of the biggest Lexus dealerships in the country. NO 09 GS460s on order for the forseeable future... (10 08s on the lot). No IS-Fs on order for forseeable future. (2 on lot). They did have 09 GS350s in stock but nothing with the black/red interior.

I really wanted to see this interior in person, but I guess that isn't going to happen. I have to get a Lexus in the next few weeks, and it seems that there won't be any new inventory coming in for months.

Anyone in the socal area that wants to check this out, they have it at the santa monica lexus. Its the black GS350 in the showroom. I saw it yesterday and was absolutely blown away by it. I had no clue that it was available in the states yet and was totally surprised when I saw it. The Black/red combo with Dark Gray Bird's-Eye Maple Accent was perfect. The redline stitching and the red in the perforated part of the seats was soooo siiiick. I noticed that the pictures show red floor mats, this car had black floor mats with the Lexus logo in red. The red carpeting was a bit much but it does stand out. If they had this option when I got my car, I would've totally paid for the upgrade.

i think the carpet is red, but the floormats are black to reduce the "red"

too bad SM lexus is too far away for me, if it's closer i will definitely check it out

Yes everyone the car will come with BLACK floor mats. The interior carpet is red. Seems in the pics Lexus took they left the floor mats out so you can see more of the red carpet

That's a picture from Japan where it comes with red floor mats.

I will second that. I don't think the gS can pull this off as well as lets say a 3 or 5 series
