OK, so my wife put the extra key/remote for our GS430 "in a safe place" somewhere in the house, and now she can't remember where. Anybody out there with an idea how to locate it? Longo Lexus quoted $450 for a new one. That ain't gonna happen soon. And besides, you know that as soon as I buy a new one, we'll find the old one!!........

it's like asking us to help you locate your remote.. it's not like there is a lojack on the key ya know =)

Yes, I know. I just figured that if the car knows when I'm near it, there must be a way of counter-engineering that. Of course, without carrying the car around the house until the lights come on, which may prove difficult.

Take your wife to a hypnotist, while you are at it, you can reprogram the wife to do a few things your way

Cheaper keys out there. Check on line. Some say you can program yourself.

you can pick one up for like $80 if you do a good research...good luck on finding the lost key. I had a similiar problem and but later found it.
