doesn't the 350 have more horsepower than the v8 430s? that's one of the big reasons I didn't "splurge" for the 460...it only had 30-40 more horses for like $6K more...didn't make sense. if they can manage to get upwards of 400-450 horses out of their V8...I'll reconsider next time.

350 is direct injection....not sure if the 430s were...but that's probably a huge advantage for the 350.

i just looked that up....gs350 makes 303 hp..with 257 lb tq...and the 430 makes 290 hp with 319 lb tq........the v6 revs higher too...hmmm......read that 0-60 times are identical with both cars....at 5.7 secs........good stuff none less...

Since Irwindale is an 1/8 mile track, that would make it about a 20 second 1/4 mile time. Something is wrong!

That's what I would have done. Empty the trunk and 1/4 tank of gas or less. If your going to the strip you might as well get everything out of it.

thats what i was thinking. a 13.7 second 1/8 mile time is terrible lol
