This past summer I looked into it, you can always make them from real carbon or even fake carbon if you just want the look!
I just prefer the wood-trim for the 3GS!

there is a place in cali that u can send your pieces to and they refinish them in what ever you want. they had different color wood and carbon fiber. www.autodynamicswest.com and www.patterntek.com
