Changing XM to SIRIUS?
I am finally putting a Lexus back in my garage. Picking up a new GS 460 next week. It has factory installed XM. I own a lifetime subscription to SIRIUS (bought many years ago). I asked the dealer what it would cost to swap the XM to SIRIUS. He is quoting $695!!!!!!
Why would this be so expensive? Is he quoting high to discourage me from changing it?
If I tried to DIY on the switch to SIRIUS what would the parts cost and how hard is this to do?
I appreciate your input.

Yes I have that problem as well. One way to look at it is to figure out how long the $695.00 will last if you get the XM plus the best of Sirius package.
Not sure if the programs you are wanting are in the plus package or not, but you can get a lot of months for $7hundy.
The XM section is a differnt number to call and have not made the merger in the subscription department yet, they say it will be soon.
Best of luck.
