Question headlight noise??

Hey everyone. I just noticed that when I turn my car on and the headlights turn on, there's this weird kinda like buzzing noise. It only goes off when I turn the car off completely. I think it has to be coming from the headlights because when I turn the car off and the headlights are still on, the noise remains. Until I press the lock button and the lights turn off the noise stops. Is this normal???

Yeah the noise is coming from the HID ballast...it is normal and if you get aftermarket HIDs for fogs they are usually even louder.

I've had my car for about 3 weeks, noticed it the other day, kinda freaked me out...but I figured it had to be normal b/c its HID. I get freaked out with every little noise, having a new car, and reading all of the problems people have with their cars makes me paranoid.

I noticed it the first time I shut the car off in the quiet garage. I got out and heard it was coming from the lights. It's just the ballast for the lights so it's no big deal.
