Default Anyone else have trouble opening doors...

with gloves on? It's been *** cold here for about 2 weeks. I don't normally wear gloves, but that's one negative thing about a wood (cheap plastic) steering wheel....it's cold in the morning, even in the garage. However, when I walk up to the car to open the door, they won't unlock if I have my gloves on....does anyone else notice this? Door works fine if I take my glove off....it's more just a hassle than anythine else.

yep, I have noticed that. Sometimes with my glove on, I have to pull the handle once, then on the second pull the door opens.

I also noticed that when it was warm out that the door would not unlock if I only caught the handle with one finger (as opposed to my hand). two fingers would open it but one finger would not. another "something odd" about these door handles that just takes up space in my head.

They warned against this in the manual... seems like no one bothers to read the manual anymore?

lol, was thinking the same thing reading this post.

When I first got my car last month, whenever i wasn't out driving it I was either on here or flipping thru the manual. Like a new toy, it was all I was thinking about.

My door locks work all the time - winter, summer, hot, cold, gloves, no gloves.

trick is i have to reach from "under" the handle to pull open. If I reach "over" the handle it doesnt open.

Hope that helps.
