Default Road Magnet Spring / Made for the AWD GS

UPDATE: 1/17/09

I have a IS300 but am going to be getting into a GS soon. I thought you guys would want to here about these.

I do not have any affiliation with Road Magnet just wanted to let you guy know there are now springs out for the AWD GS300 and 350.

www.roadmagnet.com

About the Product
Due to popular demand, we now have the Lexus GS lowering springs available. These were developed on the AWD platform and fit the GS300 models as well as the GS350 models from 2006 through 2008. The drop in the front is 1.7" and 1.2" in the rear. And of course the ride quality is typical Road Magnet Performance.

I hughly doubt a coil spring will eliminate any shaking or vibrations. I get the vibrations even on my stock springs.

This is good news! I've owned my 3GS for over 3 years and it took this long until an aftermarket mfg. could specify a lowering spring set for the AWD.

This should be good news for AWD owners if no vibrations occur..

vibration? never heard of coil springs causing vibration. out-of-balance tires will cause a car to vibrate at certain speeds, usually between 50 and 70 mph. A tire is out of balance when one section of the tire is heavier than the others. One ounce of imbalance on a front tire is enough to cause a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel at about 60 mph. make sure your tires are properly inflated.

I'm assuming the $260 price is for all 4, right? If they're $260 a piece, no thanks.

Well then, I would seriously consider giving them a try, but if it doesn't work out you're out the cost of the springs plus install.

What about these springs would make them any different than the next?
