Do you really think Lexus would sell an AWD model that had noticeable vibration issues when idle and at 60-70mph (as you have claimed to experience before)?
I'm not trying to sway you into lowering your car but keep in mind that the vibrations are subjective. Why is it that Kyang91, B. Diddy, SGT, 4thone

I don't think any car manufacturer would intentionally design and sell a car that vibrates. However, I believe there is variability in the manufacturing process and direct supplier components that can contribute to a distribution of cars that do have vibration. By the way, the vibrations I experience are the same as "stvincent". The highway speed vibration (60-70mph) is due to my iForged wheels/tires.

It's the nature of the purchase that is preventing me from lowering it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but once you install springs, they can't be returned.

So basically, if I find that lowering my car causes problems, I'm out the cost of the springs, the original cost of installing them, plus the cost to put the factor springs back on.

From that perspective, yes. You would be losing out on that cost. My advice is to find someone on this forum who has a lowered AWD and meet up with them. If you're satisfied with what you have, don't do anything.

It was not easy to get one here in NY...Dealers in NY do not want to hear about RWD at all, I even tried NJ, PA, but with no success.. I'm sure you went through the same process, where they just stick an AWD in your face! You should get a 460! I've seen some kid driving one, same color combo as ours.

Next time I head out to Bay Ridge for work we can link up somewhere if you'd like. Or if you're ever in Queens we can do that too.
