I was really looking forward to seeing the GS after the great job they did with the ISF last year.
Sorry...major disappointment!
I suppose you could argue that the GS is a continuation of a theme from last years ISF...but I was really hoping for something fresh and new from them.

I wish the wheels were a shade lighter, but with these new pics I really like everything that they have done except for the front bumper. Tone down the orange, smooth the front bumper out and I would rock it. I wish Lexus would include more aggressive side flanks like these on the next GS.

the modified body panels add an extra 5 years shelf life to the car.

this is really a timeless design.

if lexus had put this body on an fwd ES chassis and priced it in the 30g's, it would sell like hotcakes.

Default Sema Five Axis GS460

Didn't see this elsewhere on this forum. Thoughts on this 3GS? Interesting to say the least!

I Likes! Not a fan of the front bumper, but I would like my GS to have the rest of that kit. The flat black/pearl look is insane with the black trim. I would have chosen better rims, maybe a flat black/pearl with the black lip as a bigger contrast.

I like how they made orange trim in the bumper match the turn signals. That is the only time I have like the tiny orange lights.

I saw this in person last week. I walked through the Lexus house three times; I couldn't get over this car. I was really looking forward to seeing the 5-Axis IS-F, and it did not disappoint. However, the 5-Axis GS left me wanting more and more.

That car is outright what I want/want to build. The rear tail lights were sprayed with a satin clear cover. Almost all the cars in the Scion, Toyota, and Lexus displays had their taillights done this way.

BTW, 5-Axis had done a few Toyota cars as well, their Toyota Vezna was definitely interesting. It's worth a look.

I have to say it again, the 5-Axis is my favorite version of the GS. Previously with was the Ricercato in black with Kranze wheels.

I think Five Axis did an excellent job on the project GS this year. Seeing it in person at SEMA is a whole different story than seeing it in pictures. The car is very detail oriented as Troy, their chief designer is with all of their projects. It's a totally different approach than most people would take with a GS.
