Default Getting sick of cleaning off finger prints on the Nav screen

Any one try one of these screen protectors on their nav, its suppose to be anti finger prints and anti glare. Does it affect the touch screen function all? :

That looks cool, I didn't know you could get stuff like that (same sort of thing would help with an iPod issue I have to). I am getting tired of dragging out microfiber cloth all the time to clean off prints too. They claim it doesn't interfere with touch screen function and they have 99.9% positive feedback rating. Here's one feedback:

"They are great! I'm buying more stuff from them!!! 95sohcneon ( 6 ) Mar-27-08 07:10
Screen Protector Lexus IS350 IS250 IS300 RX330 RX350 (#110234394699) US $11.49 View Item "

Maybe it's someone in CL,....

i have the one from our vendor Aerotect, while it claims to be anti glare and anti finger prints, you still get prints but it helps quite a bit on the glare.

you will always have oil on your finger, nothing is going to stop it. Having this protection over my nav just makes it so much easier to clean, i don't have to worry about my towel or whatever i use to clean it.

totally worth the money IMO.

I use a eye glasses cleaning cloth, but I notice on the screen on my Garmin Nuvi leaves a lot less finger prints than the screen on the GS's Nav.
romini, does the proctector affect the touch screen functions at all?

I figured, for 10 bucks, I would try it. Dont really have much to lose

Thought you might appreciate this...

Flawless Nav Screen Skin Install by AeroTect!!!!

Click on thumbnails for enlarged pics..

Nothing will ever be anti-finger prints, unless you are wearing "white gloves"

Also, to clean I use a CLEAN microfiber that is slightly damp (from water) and then just use the dry end of same towel for final wipe.. never pushing down hard while cleaning..

Does NOT affect touch screen functions..

I ordered something that looks exactly like what JoeZ posted from lexus-parts.com (sewell). It cost $5.01 after the 15% discount promo. Works great, though the edges lift a bit. No interference with the functionality at all.

Yes I heard of AeroTect, they use to be a club lexus sponsor maybe still is, they also make clear bras. I realized nothing is a 100% finger print proof, but how often do you guys clean your nav screen with the protector on. I have to clean it every week without it and its driving me crazy.

Ditto for me - installed by Francisco himself. No issue with the touchscreen whatsoever, so transparent I often forget I have film on the screen. Also use eyeglass cloth to wipe off finger prints, works like a charm. Think Nike (Just do it) . . .

^ Agreed!! Takes me 30 seconds to clean.. maybe every 3-4 weeks...

But I am not pressing it every day.. I use my steering wheel controls for radio and phone use.. and I usually don't get lost driving back and forth from work every day..
