I smoke because I enjoy it, and I wouldn't call having 6 cigarettes a year addicted. I keep track of how many I smoke and last year I went over by one and had 7 cigs. So far this year I have only had one. I once smoked a few packs a day but I have always been able to stop or start anything I wanted. This may get a few people upset but I believe anyone can stop anytime they want if they have the will to do so. I will never quit cigs, I may wind up having less than 6 this year but I will always leave to option open. Take a look at most expensive cars that are 5 to 15 years old, After 5 years many still are in show room condition and a few are worn looking, by 10 years a lot are all dented and scratched, in 15 years most will be in the junk yard, many will be beater cars for hauling stuff from home depot and a small percent will still be in perfect [as perfect as a 15 year old car can be] condition driven by little old ladies that can't see over the steering wheel. All the cars eventually will wind up as junk so enjoy them while you can

So you are telling us that you care more about your car than your body. You only get one body, but if your car gets mucked up you can just buy another one. I see nothing wrong with people that smoke having a cig in the car, but when someone says they smoke but never in the car it seems strange they care more about an object than their own body.

There was no disrespect intended by toward the smoker, but it just seems very illogical to be more concerned about something that will likely wind up in a junk yard in 10 to 15 years, than your body which is irreplaceable
It would be better to quit but I guess if the time you spend in your car cuts down your smoking time that is a good thing

I am a smoker, I been smoking for over 8 years, I been smoking in cars for 3 years, but once I got my baby i tried smoking in it but I just can't. The big reason of why i don't smoke in my car is because when i bought it, it was a non smoker car, on top of that I hate second hand smoke. There is defiantly a lot of reasons not to, but ill keep it simple, Second hand smoke. I smoke in all my friends cars because they dont care
